In order to fulfill its mission as a means of communication for both members and non-members, the Taekwondo Club collects and uses personal information to contact its members and inform them of upcoming activities and schedule changes. Ocassionally, information of non-members is used for similar purposes.
The Taekwondo Club is committed to protecting your online privacy. This notice explains the Taekwondo Club's online information practices and how your information is collected and used. So that this notice is easy to find, it is available to all visitors to the Taekwondo Club home page at www.dctkd.org and most web pages on the Taekwondo Club web site.
Anonymous Visitor Access
You can view the Taekwondo Club home page and most interior Taekwondo Club web pages without disclosing any personal information. Some pages are only intended for viewing by Taekwondo Club members and can only be viewed by registering or logging into the web site via myDCTKD.
Visitors to the Taekwondo Club web site are not able to communicate with other visitors and cannot post information to be accessed by others via the web site. The Taekwondo Club does not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals.

We collect the personal information that you may volunteer while using our electronic services such as registering with the club via myDCTKD or sending us e-mail.

We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources such as public records or entities or private organizations.
What Information We Share
We do not disclose your personal data with other organizations. However, the law lets us share data with government and law enforcement authorities and with others pursuant to a subpoena.
Benefits of myDCTKD
Taekwondo Club members are encouraged to voluntarily provide contact information via myDCTKD in order to receive the following benefits:
- join the club e-mail notification list;
- announcement of the topic for each week;
- online registration for promotional examinations;
- online notification of promotional test results.
Protecting Your Personal Information
The Taekwondo Club has always considered the protection of sensitive information to be a foundation of member trust and a sound business practice. We maintain strict physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access by third parties. We restrict access to personal information to current club officers, the head instructor, the director of web services, and select assistant instructors.
The security of personal information you may submit in connection with a promotion entry, survey response, and/or registration for any feature on the Site is of the utmost concern to us, and we strive to ensure its security on our systems. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you transmit such information at your own risk. We will continue to assess new technology to evaluate its ability to provide additional protection of your Information.
